Creating a Classified Ad
There are two steps in displaying a Classified Ad publicly on MHParks.com. First, the user must create and save an advertisement. After the ad has been saved, users will then be able to publish their ad.
In this article users will learn how to create a new Classified Ad using the Advertise solution within the Dashboard of MHParks.com.
Note - Users must have a paid membership plan to access the Classified Ads tab within the Advertise solution, of their Dashboard.
Note - Paid plan members can create and publish an unlimited number of Classified Ads, for free as part of their subscription.
Overview
Creating a Classified Ad involves completing a simple two step wizard. The first step in the wizard allows you to provide the content of the advertisement. The second step allows you to brand the advertisement so that viewers know who to contact for your goods and services.
Once the you have completed both steps of the wizard, and clicked the Save button, the Preview and Publish buttons will become active within the wizard, or you can choose to publish your ad at a later time from within the Actives menu of your saved Classified Ad.
If you choose to publish your ad at a later time, your Classified Ad will have an Ad Status of Saved, until the advertisement has actually been published. Users can choose, at any time, to Edit, Publish, or Delete any advertisement that has an Ad Status of Saved.
Instructions
To create a new Classified Ad, please perform the following steps:
- Login to your MHParks.com account.
- From within your Dashboard, click Advertise from the left menu.
- Click on the + Add New button at the top right of the page. Then select Classified Ad from the dropdown menu.
- From within the Ad Information step of the wizard, click the Category dropdown field to select the category you wish to see your advertisement tagged in.
- After completing the remaining fields and uploading at least one image, click the Next button, located in the bottom right of the wizard, to move to the Ad Branding step of the wizard.
- On the Ad Branding step, the values will be populated from the values you have entered in your profile by default. Simply make any required changes if you wish to use different information.
- Once you have verified the Ad Branding values are correct, click the Save button in the bottom right of the wizard.
- After clicking Save, the Preview and Publish button will become active.
- After saving your advertisement, you can either choose to immediately publish your ad by clicking the Publish button at the bottom left of the wizard, or close the form without publishing it.
Note - After clicking the Save button, you can immediately choose to publish the advertisement by clicking the Publish button, or publish it later by selecting the Publish option within your ad's Action menu.
