Introduction to Park Sites
In this article we will discuss the basics of Park Sites, and begin to familiarize you with accessing a specific MH/RV park, also known as a Park Site, in order to view a mobile home or RV park's Park Information.
Overview
Park Sites is a map driven graphical way to view, manage, and track mobile home parks and RV parks throughout the United States. It replaces spreadsheets by displaying colored map pins on an integrated Google Map.
Each map pin represents a single mobile home or RV park. The various colors of each Park Site represents the specific status of the park with our system.
- Black map pins - Indicates that there is no park information available, but the location has been verified to have a MH/RV park.
- Green map pins - Indicates that there is park information, and that no user has claimed the park from within the My Parks solution
- Blue map pins - Indicates that the park has been claimed by another member from within the My Parks solution.
- Purple map pins - Indicates that you have claimed the park from within the My Parks solution.
By clicking on a map pin, users can view the park's information in a slider that opens from the right side of the page. Within the slider, you have additional options to either view or edit the details of that specific MH/RV park from within the Park Details dropdown menu.
You can also choose to include the park within your Favorites List, by selecting your customized map pin color from the Favorites Type dropdown menu. This action changes the map pin color from its default system color to your customized color so you can refence your favorite parks quickly within the Google Map.
By tracking mobile home parks and RV parks in this manner, we give our users a much more efficient, and multi-dimensional method of managing and tracking mobile home park or RV park information. These are aspects traditional spreadsheets simply can't accomplish.

Users can zoom in closer to a specific location on the map, or zoom out when they wish to view a larger geographical location.
As you zoom out, you will see individual pins begin to cluster into numbers within a circle. The clustering is used to help save space in locations that parks are more densely located.
Additionally, the main page contains the following fields and buttons:
