Making Phone Calls from within Contacts CRM

Contacts CRM provides several locations within each contact and company record where users can simply click a phone number or phone number button to make a phone call. In this article you will learn the various methods of both making a phone call to a contact or a company.

Overview

When you click either a contact's or company's phone number or it's associated button, Contacts CRM will automatically open your system's default softphone software with the intended phone number pre-entered. This way you can simply click the dial button from within your softphone.

Note - To begin using Contacts CRM, you must have a paid plan.

Important - Users must have a softphone client software installed, such as Zoom, on their device to properly make a phone call a contact or company from within Contacts CRM.

Instructions

Calling a Contact

To make a phone call to a contact from within Contacts CRM solution, please perform one of the two of the following steps.

From the Contacts Tab

  1. Login to your MHParks.com account. 
  2. In your Dashboard, click Contacts CRM from the left menu.
  3. While viewing the Contacts tab, locate the contact you wish to call. (Hint - Use the filter or Search field to help locate the correct contact)
  4. Click the phone number for the specific contact you wish to call from within the Phone Number column.

Upon clicking the contact's phone number your system's default softphone app will open with the contact's phone number entered.

From within a Contact's Record (Method #1)

  1. Login to your MHParks.com account. 
  2. In your Dashboard, click Contacts CRM from the left menu.
  3. While viewing the Contacts tab, locate the contact you wish to call. (Hint - Use the filter or Search field to help locate the correct contact)
  4. Within the Actions menu of the specific contact, select the View option. 
  5. While viewing the contact's record, click the contact's phone number, located just below the contacts image.

Upon clicking the contact's phone number your systems default softphone client will open with the contact's phone number entered.

From within a Contact's Record (Method #2)

  1. Login to your MHParks.com account. 
  2. In your Dashboard, click Contacts CRM from the left menu.
  3. While viewing the Contacts tab, locate the contact you wish to call. (Hint - Use the filter or Search field to help locate the correct contact)
  4. Within the Actions menu of the specific contact, select the View option. 
  5. While viewing the contact's record, locate the correct phone number from either the Phone Number field or Alt Phone Number field.
  6. Click the Phone button within the corresponding field.

Upon clicking the contact's phone number your system's default softphone app will open with the contact's phone number entered.

Calling a Company

To make a phone call to a company from within Contacts CRM solution, please perform one of the two of the following steps.

From the Companies Tab

  1. Login to your MHParks.com account. 
  2. In your Dashboard, click Contacts CRM from the left menu.
  3. While viewing the Companies tab, locate the company you wish to call. (Hint - Use the filter or Search field to help locate the correct company)
  4. Click the phone number for the specific company you wish to call from within the Phone Number column.

Upon clicking the company's phone number your system's default softphone app will open with the company's phone number entered.

From within a Company's Record

  1. Login to your MHParks.com account. 
  2. In your Dashboard, click Contacts CRM from the left menu.
  3. While viewing the Companies tab, locate the company you wish to call. (Hint - Use the filter or Search field to help locate the correct company)
  4. Within the Actions menu of the specific company, select the View option. 
  5. While viewing the company's record, locate the correct phone number from either the Phone Number field or Alt Phone Number field.
  6. Click the Phone button within the corresponding field.

Upon clicking the company's phone number your system's default softphone app will open with the company's phone number entered.
