Adding Notes to a Contact in Contacts CRM

As you manage leads, and contacts its always a good idea to keep records about when you may have made contact with them or what your last talked to them about. That's why we've included the ability to add notes to each of your contacts and company records.

In this article we'll discuss how to add notes to a contact within your Contacts CRM.

Overview

Adding notes to a customer's record can be a vital way to remember key aspects. To help you with this, we've included a Contact Notes tab within each contact you save in Contacts CRM. For even more functionality, our Contacts filter provides the ability to search your Contacts list by values that may have been included within each note.

Note - To begin using Contacts CRM, you must have a paid plan.

Instructions

To add a note to an existing contact within the Contacts CRM solution, please perform the following steps.

  1. Login to your MHParks.com account. 
  2. In your Dashboard, click Contacts CRM from the left menu.
  3. While viewing the Contacts tab, locate the contact you wish to add a note entry to. (Hint - Use the filter or Search field to help locate the correct contact)
  4. Within the Actions menu of the specific contact, select the View option. 
  5. While viewing the details of the contact, click the Contact Notes tab on the left of the details view.
  6. Select the correct Date value you wish to include for your Note by clicking the calendar icon.
  7. Enter your note's description within the Note field.
  8. Click the Add button after it becomes active.
  9. Repeat these steps to add additional Notes to this Contact.

Note - To edit or delete a Note click the corresponding icon from with the Actions menu that contains the related note.
